Hi, I'm Janet. I'm a product designer passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds learn and thrive in this digital age. I'm currently designing at PBS KIDS, where I work on UX/UI for cross-platform redesigns for our next generation. I have a wide range of expertise in UX/UI, strategy, user research, learning experience design, and layout/graphic design. I've worked across various industries including Education, Entertainment, AI-empowered tools, E-commerce, and Mental Health. Some notable companies include Sesame Workshop, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (aka Stanford d.school).
I earned my master's degree in Learning Design and Technology at Stanford University. Prior to graduate school, I studied research methods, human-computer interaction, and design thinking at Vanderbilt University. Fun fact: I also spent 2 years studying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and worked as a peer counselor at Vanderbilt University's Psychology Department.
